Resident Evil is a very popular franchise that started with a video game series and later became a live action 🎬 film series and then became an animated series and continued to spread its name among all media including Novels and Comics.

Currently, work is underway on two other projects in this franchise besides the animated Netflix series which will be released on July 8, 2021. One is a reboot of the Live Action film series, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and the other is a Live Action TV series from Netflix.

If we take the timeline, Resident Evil is happening between 4 and 5 in this series. The story continues with Leon and Claire being brought in to investigate a zombie attack from the White House.
